Tasting Note A blend that has made Morton Estate Brut famous, this sparkling wine combines Hawkes Bay and Marlborough grapes. With a higher sugar level than the Brut, the Reserve Sec will have wide appeal as it offers a sweeter, softer palate enhanced with classic methode characters. Elegant with lovely harmony, it is delicate, very fresh and lively with crisp citrus and apple flavours.
A perfect accompaniment to long hot summer days, good friends and celebrations. Best served well chilled with seafood or hors d'oeuvres.

Reviews Made from the traditional grapes - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier - the wine was aged on lees for at least 18 months. This is a lovely sparkling wine made in the Champagne method with a touch more sweetness than the usual brut style. The nose is gently aromatic, displaying citrus, floral and subtle yeasty notes. The palate is smooth and juicy with a pleasant refreshing finish. Sam Kim, 2010.
