Tasting Note The 2006 Marlborough Pinot Noir exhibits fruits of cherries, raspberries, strawberries and plums typical of this variety. These concentrated fruits are enhanced by the older French oak giving undertones of mocha, cinnamon and chocolate.
The palate is smooth with a layered savoury structure and underlying herbal notes, finishing with elegant grainy tannins. This wine exhibits the quality that can be achieved from the Marlborough region.
Under screw cap, it can be cellared confidently for the medium term.
