Tasting Note A special release Methode Traditionnelle made from the classic Champagne varieties of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
Maturation on lees in bottle for three years has produced a wine of subtle complexity exhibiting prominent citrus characters complemented by fresh bread and caramel notes, with white peach and white chocolate undertones adding sensual complexity.
The palate exhibits plenty of flavour to awaken the senses. White chocolate comes to the fore with autolysis-produced characters of fresh bread enveloping the peaches in a soft embrace to form a seamless palate with a long, smooth finish – reminiscent of crème brule.
Perfect for celebrating that special occasion, an aperitif or as an accompaniment to fresh seafood. May be cellared for up to 2 years from disgorging date.
IQ – Improving Quietly.
