Tasting Note The 2006 Late Harvest Semillon is part of our esteemed Black Label range of wines. Botrytis affected grapes have produced aromas of preserved lemons soaked in honey mead.
The palate is assertive, where honey mingles with chunky marmalade flavours – a distinctive character of wine formed from Botrytis affected fruit. It is rich and fresh with a lengthy acid finish – the key to a great desert wine.
This wine will be a fantastic accompaniment to cheeses, deserts and good friends.
May be cellared for the medium term in a cool, dark place.
